Adam Nathaniel Furman is a member of the AAIS 2009 and studied architecture at the Architectural Association, and fine art at Central Saint Martins in London. He has been awarded the Gerard Manley Hopkins Poetry Prize, the RIBA Bronze commendation for Architecture as well as the Nicholas Boas Rome scholarship (in collaboration with the British School at Rome), the AA Prize in the following year and received honours in 2008 for his final year project. He played an important role while working at OMA Rotterdam, in the design and development of the 2006 Serpentine pavilion in London, a interdisciplinary collaboration between Rem Koolhaas, Cecil Balmond and Thomas Demand.
