Gerd Wameling, born 1948, acts for theatre and movie productions and he performed for numerous radio plays and audio books.
In 1993 he received the Adolf-Grimme award for his performance in "Wolffs-Revier". He worked together with directors like Peter Stein, Luc Bondy, Klaus Michael Grüber, Wim Wenders ("In weiter Ferne so nah"), und Dieter Wedel ("Mit Glanz und Gloria").
