Charlotte Erckrath studied architecture and sculpture in Braunschweig (D), Nuremberg (D), Graz (A), Copenhagen (DK) and London (GB). In 2007 she graduated with commendation in architecture at The Bartlett, University College London. As an artist and architect she worked on European workshops, projects, group exhibitions and scientific surveys about space relevant topics, photography and stage design.
She is currently undertaking a Master in Architectural Design at The Bartlett School of Architecture.
Maik Ronz, born in 1978, studied architecture and urban design in Cottbus (D), Graz (A) and Copenhagen (DK). With his works he took part in several competitions, group exhibitions and European projects. He currently works as a freelance Architect and is nominated for a working grant by the Kunststiftung Sachsen-Anhalt (D).
Charlotte Erckrath and Maik Ronz are Raumarbeiter. In their last joint project, which they realized as grantees of the Thalia Theatre Halle and the Deutsche Bank Stiftung, they engaged in spatial correlations between the different protagonists in architectural theatre space. 'We are interested in scenic constructions, which are questioning stable positions of the involved.'
