artist, CRASH!BOOM!BAU! Festival

Moritz Wehrmann was born near Kassel in 1980. After his apprenticeship as an IT-System Engineer he started studying media culture and media art/design at the Bauhaus University. In 2008 he studied at the College of Fine Arts, Sydney and worked for the Bienniale of Sydney.
Moritz works with video, photography and interactive media. His works reflect his interest for cognition, cybernetics and information theory.
In the past two years he showed at the Bauhaus Mediengang, Deutschen Nationaltheater Weimar, KHM-Köln, Gallerie Eigenheim and CoFA Artspace.
