Jan M. Sieber graduated in Media Technology (media production), concentrating on multimodal interfaces and usability engineering.
After working in Television- and Multimedia-Production (Bangkok) and R&D: Human-Computer Interaction (Automotive, Stuttgart) he came to Weimar in 2005, since then teaching Physical Computing and Interaction Design at Bauhaus-University, department of Interface Design (Media Art & Design).
He focusses on the development of interaction concepts, electronic interfaces, tools and gadgets for Games, Film, Architecture, Media Arts, stage and public space. His research deals with the subjects of User-Centered Design in ubiquitous computing systems.
